Just Barbaric.

  1. I find that hard to believe. Islam is such a peaceful religion. It must have been the Great White Satan. We must have had something to do with it.

  2. Negative. Islam may be a peaceful religion in theory, but Muslims are people just like Christians are. There are bad seeds everywhere. I've seen plenty of non-Muslim things go on by supposedly "peaceful" people. So sick.

  3. Perhaps my sarcasm was lost in translation.

I wholeheartedly agree with the fact there are bad seeds in all religions but I've spent the majority of my adult life with muslim fundamentalists at the forefront of my military career.

In an effort to know my enemy I have researhced them and I have read the Qur'an. It is far from a religion of peace (although I don't find a lot of peace in any religion).

I firmly believe anyone who commits a violent act in the name of their god is a fool, a hypocrite and an embarrassment to their god.

I know Christianity has a lot of violence in it's past along side of Islam, many of the stories are very close in detail. I guess the difference is Christianity has the new testement which, in theory, brings forth a more forgiving, caring god rather than the wrathful and vengeful god of the old testement.

Of course there are ten percenters in every facet of life so why should religion be any different.

On the bright side -- no one has ever been killed in the name of Wicca.

  4. Because such a large portion of my lovely readers do not, in fact, subscribe to our mysterious ways of the "Sarcasm" (:)), I decided that instead of letting a comment that could be taken seriously sit idly by as it was, I'd go ahead and re-remind folks of the turbulent ways folks behave... religious basis or no. Times are plenty different than when "they" wrote any of the "good books"... perhaps we should all act like it. :)

(And using my words stops me from walking around with a baseball bat under one arm to use on the fucks who sit in their SUVs and honk at the restaurant outside of which I'm dining because they're too lazy to park and walk in to order... sarcasm THAT!)
