So apparently my baby sister swore in with the Air Force yesterday. She has been having a hard time with college and knowing exactly what she wants to do, so I think this could be a wise move for her.
After I read an email from her about it, I first cried my eyes out, thinking about how I am still missing everything in my siblings' lives, and how she will always be ten years old to me, but then I pulled myself together and realized it really could be a good thing for her and her personality. Structure is a good thing for someone like Justine.
It is really shocking to me how fast time flies. I'm also pretty pissed that no one decided to tell the sister who is stuck in Hell! If I hadn't happened to email her yesterday I wouldn't have heard. You people need to work on your communication skillz! :)
Anyway, so congratulations to Justine for taking such a huge step. Good luck seastar!
I apologize for not letting you know right away, but I only found out the day before yesterday! Your mom text me and told me. I mean, we knew she had decided to go for it, but that had been a passing remark, so we forgot about it until when I received the text. I thought by this time, you probably knew!! LOL You are right...we need to communicate more and immediately! Now, do you know your mom is having surgery for her leg/knee hurt in a "four-wheeler" accident?? I hope I have not stirred up any hysteria here, but I don't want to be the one NOT telling you!! haha I will e-mail you more on that!
ReplyDeleteLove you all and only 52 days to go! Mimi :)
If its any consolation, I just found out through reading this. And I'm only 90 miles away! Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a big step for your sister, but I am happy for her. I think it will be good for her though. I miss you!
