I saw this on imgur. Seriously the coolest thing I have seen in weeks.

Apparently (now, the internets told me, so it definitely could be wrong) this is a multiplication method that is Japanese in origin. Regardless, it works (try it! I totally did!) and it is awesome. We aware that if you end up with double digits, carry the tens place like you would with any other math. It's amazing!
