I was supposed to write about how I have a work Christmas
party to go to tonight after a day-long conference call. I was going to
complain and whine about having to sit on a call all day, and how other people
are less prepared than me, and how frustrating it is to pick up other people’s
slack…
…but the school shooting in Connecticut today stopped all
that. The details are fuzzy right now, but what is clear is that someone came
into an ELEMENTARY school and killed a bunch of little, completely innocent
kids. Not a college or high school, where, while still incredibly horrible, is nothing
compared to slaughtering little babies who are just beginning their lives. I
have no words.
