Stu and I decided we're going to make Christmas Cookies this year so I need recipes! If you have a great Christmas Cookie recipe, please send it my way! (Especially Marcia and that one I always eat raw from your fridge... it's like a plain looking dough and tastes like heaven... send that please!)
Email me or post recipes as a comment to share!
Thank in advance!

Hey Sista! Got an EASY one for ya! 2 c flour, 3/4 c sugar, 1 1/2 sticks of butter, tsp (or 2) vanilla, one large egg....that's all! Chill for 1/2 hour and roll em out! Bake them for 10-15 minutes...ish...until brown on 325 degrees. I make my icing with confectioners sugar and a splash of milk (very SMALL splash), you will need a lot of confectioners suger...YUM!

There is NO cookie recipe like Aunt Marcia's! None! Zip! I just know that it takes a strong arm, or someone to help, mix up that stiff dough! The icing isn't hard, you can use any recipe (just not canned), but that dough will certainly build up your upper arm muscles! haha I will check through my recipes and see what I can find for you. Only 11 days left and I am starting to hyperventilate daily! Guess I should carry around a brown paper bag "just in case!" hahaha Love you...Mimi
ReplyDeleteHi Baby!
ReplyDeleteI will e-mail them to you - I have several that are easy and you will just love. Including that chocolate snapper recipe you mentioned earlier :-)
Love you millions!

Hey Sydney - do you guys like candied cherries (and can you get them there)? Let me know, because if you do, I have one my mom makes every year with them in it that she LOVES. You can actually add a little alcohol (can't remember what kind) if you want that gives it really good flavor after baking. Lemme know!
